work.
Professional whitening uses carbamide or hydrogen peroxide at concentrations not available over the counter, applied to the tooth surface in a controlled way. The result is a more uniform, deeper shade change — and because we protect the gums and monitor sensitivity in real time, far fewer patients have the burning aftermath strips cause.
For most patients we recommend custom take-home trays worn 30 minutes a day for two weeks. For patients with a short timeline (wedding, event), we offer in-office whitening in a single 75-minute visit.
